@NIKKGAGE1994 Man, he's not overrated, have you ever heard Fight fire with fire's bass track???
Steve and Cliff are so amazing bass players.

2:52 under Adrian's solo...FUCK!

The use of brand spanking new strings, a precision bass with a maple neck and fretboard and playing with the tone knob nearly to fully open. An additional midboost on the amp will also help.
And just because it's cool a brass/chrome mirror pickguard

@717mienbao Steve was heavily influenced by Entwhistle from memory amongst others such as Pete Way
-
Sounds like if Entwhistle went metal.
Such an added dimension when the bass player doesn't just play the bass line but is actually playing melody.

I dont play bass... never will. But Steve is one of, if not the greatest human being to walk the face of the earth. Just looking at the sheer number of people he has inspired, how he build a band from nothing, even in hard times. 85 million albums? I mean come on! He's is the fucking man, oh and he's stunning on bass.

@gunsnrosesfan191 i play bass because of Cliff Burton, Steve Harris and Roger Waters. I've been playing for about 4 years (never learned guitar) and i can play maiden stuff ;)
you guys are tards, cliff and steve dont play the same style so you are trying to compare apples and oranges, enjoy both of their masterful playing skill and STFU
