I have an Acer AMD 15.4, 1.9ghz, NVidia 8600gs, 2gb ram.. but is not working on netbook 2d! it crashes, and the panels always give errors in start. I install first 9.10, works slow. I install 10.10 it moves a bit faster in gnome however in 2d big problem

@misu3rd dude, you installed the drivers for your video card? because the nvidia card in linux ubuntu is awesome.

@RODSOUZA2008 if i install 173 from nvidia it's ok but moves slow, if i use 185 no good. so i dont use non

@misu3rd already experimenting Kubuntu? in some notbooks I installed it showed a significant improvement in speed and greater compatibility.

the only system designed for netbooks, worth a try
