As of 10/02/12 youtube beam button longer appears. It never shows up and if you hit the play button the only thing that happens if the dislike/like menu appears (where the beam button use to be)

I can't stream high resolution videos through my xbox. It pauses intermittently. Lower resolution videos stream just fine. Using it with a Galaxy S2...can't seem to find a solution for this nor find any contact info for support. Help!

Nice idea, but I was hoping to stream networked media into my phone: It detects nine uPnP/DLNA devices in my home, but none of them can produce a visible video on my phone.

The other way around works well enough: play media from my phone on TV or audio, but that's not my prime need....

Other (free) apps can play movies (even M$ .MTV) , but they need to be on my SDcard, bummer....

This only allows you to send things from your phone out to others. But you can not view things on your phone that are stored elsewhere or listen to mp3 on your laptop. Plus it is VERY difficult to get it configured to work at all. Keep looking.....

I have Twonky Mobile on my HTC Incredible and don't seem to be able to find any "device" on the network. We have a few Win7 Ultimate PCs and an Apple TV on the network; however, Twonky only displays my phone as a device I can play to. How do I cause Twonky Mobile to discover these other devices? I would like to beam/share/stream pictures / video to the Apple TV specifically.

They don't have very good instructions on their web site. I want a step by step tutorial of how to "beam" from my new my touch g4 to my TV. I don't have time to "research" this or sift through 20 youtube videos trying to find the right video to show me this stuff.

Your TV just needs to have WiFi or Ethernet and DLNA MediaRenderer support. As well, you will need to connect it to your home network. If it doesn't have this functionality. some of the newer Sony Blu-Ray players and home-theatres have it and the Western Digital WDTV Live and some other media player set-top boxes can do this with your TV.
