I just had by 4GB SLC SSD replaced to a 16GB MLC SSD from Asus.
In Asia here (at least Taiwan and Hong Kong), we can paid $55-65 USD to Asus for this service.
According to some earlier reviews, the speed is around 70+MB/s read and 50+MB/s write.
My machines now is 32GB, with the primary one high speed SSD at 16GB, and the other one is slow SSD.
I have installed OSX on both drive, on the slow SSD drives, it will take minutes (around 3-4 minutes) to boot up OSX, and on this new drive, it will take around 35 seconds. No more lag operating OSX on this new SSD as well. The shut down speed is just 3-4 seconds.

That's awesome.
Did you have to flash your bios?
I like the timer on the bootup.
I want to put Leopard on mine, but may wait until I get a copy of Snow leopard after it releases. It's supposedly built around speed and memory enhancements so it'll probably be awesome on a netbook if it's compatible.
