she wrote a beautiful song and it was performed with perfection and a huge amount of emotion. I don't think these 2 singers were even on the same level. She commanded that audience during her performance. She was brilliant. She even made the big man Adkins, cry and he also gave the approving "Nod" at the end. It was so moving. And I have to say, I LOVE Cyndi Lauper. A women with a huge heart.

@monkey88hamster I can't find anywhere she hits that note like that either! What a shame, it is soooo beautiful! The clip of her singing it in a white dress at the CMA music festival is about the closest and even it isn't as good as on here!
