9/11 10th Anniversary Tribute

I created this slideshow in tribute to the first responders, civilians, and military personel that lost their lives on September 11, 2001. It is also dedicated to the families of all those effected by the terrorist attacks, including military families in the past and present. Specifically, this will be shown before the Sept. 10th Spindletop Roller Girls bout in Beaumont, TX for us to reflect and remember the events on and since 9/11. Please do not post any comments about politics or conspiracies. I have created this as a tribute to the lives effected by this day in history. Music is "Independence" and "Army of Doom" (instrumentals) by Jon Brooks, and "If I Die Before You Wake" by Dustin Evans. All pictures were AP and none were taken by myself.

@faisal1979m I never once said I agree with nor bless the US government's decision to invade entire countries in the Middle East. Nor am I proud of how many innocent Middle Eastern lives have been taken or ruined by our occupation there. I do not celebrate the death of anyone, whether they are black, white, tan, Christian, Muslim, etc. Death for the reason of politics is always useless. @faisal1979m Muslims weren't blamed or framed for anything, al queda was, and they took credit for the attacks. This is not a religious fight, nor was it ever directed at Muslims. Only idiots blame Muslims. If you don't agree with it, don't put your political or conspiracies on the video... It's to remember the victims, whom regardless of who did it or what caused it, died without reason.

...killing people for vengeance, on the street. I'm glad bin Laden is dead, yes. Do I think he deserved to die? yes. However, the word 'justice' I think is ill-fitting. We eliminated a threat, someone who would certainly kill again. I think that's what we need to focus on, not revenge. "An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind."

I know I'm going to get lots of negative comments on my own thoughts, but I think it needs to be said. As much as Osama bin Laden deserved to die, not only for those he killed but for those he would have killed in the future, I think it is wrong for anyone to say that what happened was justice. revenge, yes. justice, no. In America a just punishment is decided in a court of law. Although not on such a great scale, serial killers are still afforded the right to a trial. Citizens can't just go...

May Osama bin Laden and each and every member of al queda and each and every suicide bomber who take the lives of innocent men, women and children spend their cowardly after lives in the eternal fires of Hell...in everlasting pain and torment (sorry, no virgins for ya dudes).
