Synopsis: "Environmental issues have been receiving a lot of attention lately: in the streets, in the media, on the internet - and people are trying to fit themselves into the big picture, trying to find out how they can help solve these issues.
Unfortunately, corporations are seeing this as an opportunity to capture a new market to which they can gain more revenue. Through advertising, they use words such as "green" or "environmentally friendly" and proclaim that their new product is better than the previous model.
Don't be tricked by this ploy - do your homework on the product to see which (if any) green standards the product meets BEFORE buying it.
If these corporations are making these "green" changes to their product, would it not be just as easy to make the green standards law?"
