@BryanTalks iirc, there is a manga of Angel Beats about how the SSS was formed.

@SoundJudgment They could make a prequel, as they're already doing it with the manga. How SSS was formed and the adventures they went through before Otonashi came into the story. Of course, they could make a Life-after-the-Afterlife story, too, but I think they should just leave that alone.

@thepotterpony you cried in EVERY EPISODE?... wtf? there were maybe 5~6 that were cry worthy. and definitely 3 atleast, when Yui passes on, when Otonashi regains ALL of his memories, and the ending, guaranteed crying... Assuming the story was engaging with you.

@SoundJudgment This is very true, the emotion, the message, everything they wanted to convey, they did even if it was a short time. They kept it short and without fillers giving us nothing but pure excellence... IMO. (Excluding their extra episodes... which were fun as hell to watch lol).

The series HAS a definite ending, and a promise-hint of new days to come for those who lived it. But to continue with the series (yes 12 episodes was short) would be a disservice to the the creators and writers and what they wanted for this show.
Please, accept what they offered and enjoy the time spent with the characters. It is time for all of them... to move on...
