$79.95, ''rockfords price'' VS Boss Audio chaos 12'' rated at 1100rms 2200 peak but are truly 250-300 RMS real world power daily ! 45-65$ each who wins !? u tell me ! i dont care that this is a older rockford , the older ones are better than the new ones... i dare you to compare. here ill do it for you ! brand new rockford prime 12'' 150RMS 300 peak 2'' vc with a tiny magnet ,stamped steel basket 55$ . the R2's and P1's also dont compare.. a P2 with a 2-1/4" High-temp voice coil is starting to get in the boss's range.... but then at that cost your getting a much larger boss than im showing !~ hell at that price you can get the outcast with a 3" High temperature BAEISV voice coil, 200 oz. Magnet structure ,Peak: 2000 watts , RMS: 1000 watts weighs 25.00 lbs each !! the P2 is a piddly 15.00 lbs !!!

rockford hands down.that rockford z is like 13 years old.dont try to compare old technology with newer technology. fact is fosgate will handle its rms and peak power without a problem. try to run a boss at its rated wattage and it blows.how do i know? i have had both boss and fosgate.i would take an old set of hx2 15's over any model boss 15 made today.

@KMOS2200 ok i think a fair comparison would be a brand new rockford prime vs the same cost boss audio subwoofer. you can go down to the local shop here and get a prime for 79.99 and a lil higher up boss than this one for 79.99

By the sound of the rooster in the background, I would guess it is 5 am....I would take that BOSS over RF any day. The new RFs are shit. They definitely don't compare to the old school ones. Honestly, I'd get Pyle before a new RF.

Owww man, I was going to buy a Boss Audio sub but everyone is saying there shit Ha. I thought they looked nice and had good watts and RMS for the money? So whats a good sub that most people agree on?

@gchildxxx1 like you said gotta have the volts. people will argure with me about this but i hooked it up to 2 txxapx15 bridged at 1 ohm yea 1 ohm bridged and it give the subs some power after about 3minutes the subs were heated so bad you couldnt touch the magnet nor the cone as it was 160 degrees F

@TheClown316 im putting 3 15's in my benz, ill give one of those amps a shot and see what they are about.all together the 15's will handle 5000 watts.we will see what it will do.you seem to be sure about this amp.
