Vídeo para crítica correspondente no blog lerbd. This is a short video for a review at the Portuguese language comics blog lerbd on Daniel Clowes- latest book (the first all-original material book he has made), "Wilson", a pathetic, spiteful and cruel character. Each page is a stand-alone chapter or "joke", always rendered in a different style (hence the many faces of Wilson). I think that Wilson is a sort of updated version of Crumb's Mr. Natural, but Wilson is a too human, cruel and sadisctic prick. Clowes' love for humanity - at its lowest - at its best. The song is a Tuvan chant called "ching soortukchulerining yryzy", by the great band Huun-huur-tu. Perhaps a bit too upbeat for "Wilson". Copyrights their respective owners; academic and review purpose/fair use only. Lack of editing skills unavoidable, sorry
