Maiden of Pulse XT 25e. Flys real nice and smooth, just a couple trim clicks. Lands a lot faster than the Mini Pulses. Wind doesn't knock it around or slow it down that much. My largest plane to fly so far. Specs...Turnigy 35-48 11kv motor, Turnigy 60a Sentry ESC, HS225 servos, power is 2 Zippy 2200 mah 25c batteries tied together in parrell. Prop was a APC 13x8e, not sure that was the best prop. Will try a 13xx6.5 and 12x8. Flight time was about 12 minutes I think. From the first flight to the last the battery was never un plugged. At the end there was 35% left in the batteries.

  • If you have a DX6i radio, and a 6 channel Rx, set up spoilerons, start with about 25%. I just did this to mine and it made a huge difference in landing. It takes the bounce out of it. Check out a recent video with and on board camera. I now run a power 32 and 4s. But have another running this motor.

  • This is a great plane, mine has the 25e in it and is less powerful then your's. I have to use a lot more runway to take it off, and its probably the hardest plane I own to land. With the 3200mAh batteries i use, i get about 15 mins of flight, I haven'thad a dead stick yet, but i have had a few bad landings resulting in snapping off the front landing gear, and one where i hit a park cone and ripped half of an aleron off. Its still flying well though, even with its battle scars!

  • Just seeing the bigger plane takes some getting use to. I'm been on high rates for a while, it's a very nimble plane. Check out my recent on board video.

  • I love this plane. I maidened mine today. I was kinda scared because this is a HUGE step up from my ParkZone Trojan! But, I had a couple of awesome flights. I'm running a Power25, 12X8 APC, Turnigy 3S 4000mah. 15-17minute run times, and putting back around 3600mah! SweeeT!

  • I only flew it once with this motor, I had 2 1800 parkzone 3s batterys this flight. Not bad but I wanted more. I bought a power 32 and run a 4s 2150 rhino and a turnigy 2650 4s. I get 8-10 and 10-12 minutes with mixed flying. I usually have 25-30% left. I don't want to dead stick this plane!

  • Are you using 2x 2S batteries? or 2x 3S batteries?

I have this plane and use a Power 25 with 3S 3200mAh batteries.

How long are your flights with this motor/battery configuration?
