I had a friend who tried to audition for American Idol. She didn't make it. I mean she didn't even make it to the televised judges. First you havta get pass the shows producers. But in that case who do the awful singers even make it on TV? Enertainment. Hence the show is unfair

I hate American Idol and every show like it. They only care about ratings and creating the next pop star. I hate that people now days think the only way to be a famous singer in to be on a show like American Idol.

First of all, I think as entertainment, the show is good up to a point. I personally only like watching the terrible people who think they can sing, but who actually can't, do their thing. You should have gotten a gold ticket.

Having said that, I think American Idol is bullshit. You can't take a shortcut to success because it will only be temporary. To get real success takes hard work, persistence, sweat, and blood.

If you really want to sing, don't quit, keep trying. You'll do it.
