Circus Vargas Commercial 1985

I've never been to see Circus Vargas but the commercials are very memorable. The one here has a catch jingle "The big one is back". Shown on KTTV in 1985

That's interesting! I don't remember Circus Vargas appearing at the Orange Show. Didn't Cal Worthington give out free tickets to Circus Vargas in return for a test drive? I think that's where he got the animals known as his dog "Spot."

I'm not sure but I do know that he used elephants that had the logo on them, sort of a "product placement" in a way.

I was at the La Habra shows a couple of years before this. It was a hot miserable ghetto version of Ringling Bros.

Yeah my parents didn't let me go to venues where they abused wild animals for entertainment. Kinda sick. Hopefully people have the brains today to recognize cruelty or what it is.

i saw circus vargas in hemet about 4 years ago.  it wasn't as good as ringling bros. but they had this hot chick that did stuff with a hoolahoop!

I remember going to that circus, and as an elephant walked by me, it almost knocked me over. Of course, I was sitting too close.

I went to Circus Vargas in 1974. Sat right up front. One of the Elephants had explosive diarrhea! Guess where he had his fit???? Yup! You guessed it. Right in front of my friend, his dad and I. We were 10 years old! I was seriously traumatized.
