You're not missing much. They remain with the nasty Hearst theme music and graphics, and Wendy Bell still doesn't know how to shut up. And, they're taking their good 'ol time going HD. Meanwhile, they've had their HD set for 5+ months now...

Since I've seen several recent openings from "WTAE 4, ABC in Pittsburgh", and I live in New Jersey, I like the ones when they say "Where YOU Come First".

lol....to tell you the truth, i still think that the old theme music is better than mine here in florida. although i am not crazy about the "Where you come first" slogan. i liked the "Taking Action for you" better. i do remember Wendy talking a lot but she is getting paid to do that. a couple of my local stations are taking a good while going HD and switching to DT.

Image News makes the music for Hearst-Argyle news stations. That's also why the openings, graphics and websites are the same but suited to their regon. (sorry for the spelling.)

Ah, the good WTAE days. I loved this station through about 2004. Then the sensationalism started and has only gotten worse, IMO. Post more of this stuff please! :)
