PLAYLIST travels to the streets of Lisbon, Portugal, to showcase the artists experimenting with a new style of Afro-European musical fusion: its kuduro, and its been part of the Angolan musical scene since the 1980s. A raw type of rave house music fused with Caribbean calypso sounds and Angolan grooves, kuduro is the new sound of Lisbon, and a genre that is as exciting as it is energetic. This episode we meet Baraka Som Sistema, Makongo and DJ Marfox who are all at the forefront of this new European sound.
