  • Used the same technique to build a Tri Magnum reverse trike . Makes a sturdy body and is easy to modify . Thanks for posting such an nice set of videos

  • You can also hot wire/shape the form in polystyrene foam (1/4 the $ of Urethane) and bag it (with vacuum). Lightly glue the dry 'glass over the bag with contact adhesive and associated peel ply/shade cloth/plastic film (2nd bag) then vacuum infuse the body/trunk part. It's quicker, easier and again, no timber used. I build aircraft components this way and it's a fine system (don't tell Boeing you are doing this as they hold the patent. lol) Cheers.
