I went to the FIRST of the last nights. I was really annoyed when Russ announced on local radio there was going to be another (I was told last night beleive it or not that there was 6 - but don't know if this is accurate). However, I wanted the Lady to go out with diginity for myself and refused to go to any others.

Classic Vintage soul !!! Wigan turned a cutting edge scene into a retro oldies scene -something that the Twisted Wheel and the Torch never did !! Sure the oldies which were the newies of 68 to 72 will always be the foundations of the scene -but by 76 well Wigan Casino certainly wasnt Northern Soul !!
