This song from Hoovers and sledgehammers describes the sheer terror and violence attached to the darker side of humanity.
From the deluded, misogynistic, psychopathic, sexually repressed and childlike view of the fundamentalist to the stalker of the western world. The narrator of the song hopelessly shouts in sheer anger towards these people but it falls on deaf ears.
The artist manque: We have all met these kinds of people through life they are of the rather dangerous type. They should be working out their inner demons and torment through art but instead they take their shit out on people. They can be very intelligent and can often possess an artistic streak but with the lack of interest in art they pursue other ways to get their kicks.
The much neglected view of smashing things up. If you turn your back on reason which is what the nazis had done, you turn your back on human nature. It becomes addivtive and there it is, the gates are open and its pretty powerfull for a while but its so toxic and against human nature that it just burns itself out very quickly. Nazisim only lasted a a few decades.
The philosphy of Nazism and fundamentalist religious groups are so toxic thet even if they had prevailed and had gotten their own way they would have dissolved into disgrace.
