Pro Football San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos (+1 ½) (4:15PM ET) (CBS)
Denver gave up 150 yards on the ground against the Raiders last Monday Night. Look for the Chargers to pound the rock here against Denver. Denver always has problems containing LaDainian Tomlinson on the ground and with his pass catching skills out of the backfield. The Chargers are more balanced on offense and have better group of receivers to capitalize on the Broncos defense. The Chargers secondary is much better than the Raiders and Cutler will not find his receivers as wide open as they were against the pitiful Raiders. The Chargers arent the poor tacklers on defense like the Raiders showed last Monday Night. After a rusty first half the Chargers offense got rolling in the second half against Carolina last week. Jyles Tucker will replace the injured Shawne Merriman and has pass-rushing skills; good speed and looked impressive last year. The Chargers have won at Denver the last two seasons. They will make it three wins in a row at Denver. Denver is also on a short week following their late night win on Monday Night Football. Play San Diego 1 ½.
Selection: San Diego 1 ½
LT: 10 carries, 21 yds. Denver 39, SD 38. Good thing I went with Denver.
