Chopper pilot Peter Clark's luck ran out when his Ten News chopper again crashed on the side of Mount Coot-tha late in 1998. He died instantly and was the sole occupant. Local TV news crews rushed to the scene including some of his own colleagues who were devasted on what they saw.

  • Yes, the info is correct. I was talking about another event as well in 1998 which was related.

  • @houguey That's correct, the chopper of TVQ's and all in Brisbane are meticulously maintained, there was nothing mechanically wrong with the chopper in 1998.

It's a shame the bloke took his life, there is always more worth living for.

  • Yes Peter Clarke took his life whilst flying the chopper..

  • oh right so the pilot who survided this crash went onto die in one 10 years later? thats harsh.

do you have any coverage of that?...

  • I remember this really well. Those people in the crash were very lucky
