2800 blocks in the scene. I used Mental ray with Final Gathering to render.
I hope you like it. Watch in HD!

  • what is your hardware ?

I'll try to recreate this clip in cinema 4d :)

  • @kalugin intel quad core 2,33 ghz 8 gig memory

  • @binlactus would 6gb be enough? what's the main thing? processor? ram? gpu?

  • @theBOSS3105 Processor and memory are the main things. 6gig memory is enough to simulate 3000 blocks.

  • @binlactus mine is i7 2.9 ghz, 6gb ram ddr3, how long would it take to render something like this?

  • @theBOSS3105 No longer than 2h i think

  • i love the colour

  • @binlactus core2quad q9300 2.5 ghz 4gig memory

simulation time - 2 minutes :) now rendering

  • @binlactus strange :) and the simulation is very slow too , you should use real flow only for fluids, i don't like it for rigid bodies

  • @kalugin Maya
