Sights and Sounds of Paris: Part 3 (Preview)

This production includes aspects of modern Paris along with visuals of La Défense, La Villette and the Bercy district. The bohemian character of the Latin Quarter with its broad boulevards of St Michel and St Germain are featured, as well as a short tour of the underground tunnels of the Catacombs stacked with the anonymous bones of more than six million Parisians. At La Place des Vosges, which turned the Marais into one of Paris's most exclusive neighbourhoods, locals enjoy their community park and the Maison de Victor Hugo, against the background sounds of local street musicians.
SPECIAL TOPIC: Eric takes a trip on the Métro, showing us how to purchase a ticket for the journey and follow the various signs along the way. The journey is illustrated by animated views of a Paris Metro Map.
