Don't do the exercises if you have inflammation

You shouldn't do these exercises if you have a build up of scar tissue. Look for a PT who does active release and massage to break up the tissue. Then start the exercises slowly.

I also agree with the people commenting below:
DONT PUSH YOURSELF THREW THE PAIN, IT'S A MISTAKE
AND
DONT DO IT SO FAST, TAKE AS LONG PER REPETITION AS YOU SEEM FIT.

Don't need a back pack, just hold a dumb bell in your hand. And I don't know about continuing through the pain. That has always been a mistake for me.

Yes I aggree by being less dynamic you are exercising muscle & tendons far more, & less likely to aggrevate the condition.

THANK YOU. I have been suffering for 5 yrs with tendonosis of my achilles tendons in both ankles (though the right ankle is worse) Before the tendonosis started I felt my calf muscles were tight, and as hard as rocks even at resting, so I believe that I wasn't getting enough circulation to my lower limbs. I am going to give this excersize a good trial run before I opt for the new TOPAZ surgery which my doc recommended. Still it's surgery, and I would rather fix it naturally if I can

for all viewers: dont do this exercise as fast as they do in the video.. try to do it slowly: like 4-5 seconds. this has a better effect!! believe me
