The HDR-SR12 can record in both 1080i and 720i but not 720p. Nice video though

There New DSLR that can record video isn't really a rival to sony or canon, i meen, i has a high resolution, but it also has a rolling shutter which makes the video qaulty Bad.

Also 720p is ProHD.

This camera can't record in progressive unlike it's rivals Canon & Nikon.

Just because it's not 1080p does not mean it is Standard Definition, it's 720p, that's HD, just not Full HD. Nor is it 1520p True Hd....
