@mymathersname I am sure. It was one of the only places I could find to get Chinese (Mandarin) music to listen to while I was studying 汉语. There is almost nothing on iTunes or amazon that could help me so I used baidu for content. I have since stopped studying (for a while) and deleted those mp3s. Its too bad there isn't a nice, easy place to buy Mandarin content.

@fuzzyfox92 that's just the normal ubuntu panel with the icons set to 48px an aligned to the top left position :)

What is the version of Banshee ? When I plug my HTC Desire, he doesn't appear in Banshee, but I see the 4GB SD card on my desktop

@Bioslotd It's banshee 1.6.0 - You might have to go into Edit, Preferences then click on the Extensions tab and tick the box next to "Mass Storage media Player support"

I've tried this technique but banshee won't even register that my phone is connected. It doesn't even look the same as my screen .. I have banshee 1.8 installed :(

Can i load different firmware ios onto my itouch in ubuntu

@rohanr2 Can you use some sort of bootloader and get Ubuntu,Gentoo or Backtrack Distro's on it under CHROOT after we have rooted the mobile device?

Also do you know what Wireless Chipset its got, If i am able to solve these I will purchase one.

(Willing to attend penetration testing on this device)... I would need to see if it can Inject and monitor packets.
