the 3870 is actually a very good card, although i do recommend the upgrade to the 9800gt

DO NOT GET ATI, Get an nvidia card, ATI is known for it's shitty cards and it's very unreliable!

i want to know right, i am getting a xps 420.
intel quad Q6600
ATi Radeon HD 3870
4 gb ram. but i heard that windows visat can only recognise 3 gb of ram unless it is 64 bit. so is there any point in me getting 4gb ram. or will it recognise it?

yeah it supports digital TV, mine does anyway... (the €80 add on) also comes with remote control..

the gt8800 has two dvi outputs on it, so you can use two monitors using dvi cables.
windows should pick them up automatically but i use a little program called 'ultramon' which really takes advantage of the two screens :-)
