Honestly man, I am tired of shaving. I'm 25, been doing it for a long time, or what seems to be a long time. Granted I like the way clean skin feels. Unfortunately it gets old, shaving the legs, underarms, bikini area, plucking the eyebrows, and nipple hair, getting rid of the knuckle air. I am no more hairy than any other girl, but being a natural brunette, it tends to be noticable. So yes, society needs to easy off us women. Now a days it's not even acceptable to go unshaven on the crotch.

@haterLM You're the perfect example of someone who wants what he doesn't have ... something, in this case, that some guys wish they didn't have.  I suppose that's human nature to look at the "other guy" and wish we had what he did. Ever imagine you might be better off loving your smooth face? :)

@Pudgeswife Do YOU think it's a "hideous jungle," or are you just repeating what others tell you? If you've got a poor self-image, you probably lack confidence and THAT turns away the girls, too. The people who are turning you down because of your body hair -- are you trying to win the affection of THAT kind of person? Shallow people who judge you because you're hairy do NOT sound like someone you should get involved with anyway. Don't lose faith; it does get better. Talk to me for details.

Pretty sad when a country/culture/society decides what looks good/nice/hot/in/acceptable, etc. Since when does it involve body image? The majority of people (yes, even in America) are NOT totally smooth. So by declaring body hair to be undesirable, "dirty," or worse, it not only excludes a LOT of people (who then develop poor self-images and/or deal with rejection with plastic surgery / Botox / waxing, etc.; you have to deal with the psychological trauma it causes. Embrace the fur, PLEASE.
