Salam!
I think music without lyrics is o.k; it's the music with words where you have to be careful. I read a hadith where Prophet Muhammed(pbuh) went with his wife to see people playing the drums, so I'm guessing music without lewd lyrics aren't evil. Some songs even promote Islam, ma'shallah. But that's my opinion, and i'm not hear to judge..that's Allah's (swt) job.
