Using the Quadruped Path Animation System(QPAS) it took me approximately 15 minutes to go from a 45 frame cycling animation of this Allosaur, to the sequence you see here. I used the QPAS offsets to get the head turns and body weight shift during the pause, and the QPAS re-timing curve to achieve the pause.

The original 45 frame cyle can still be edited, this sequence is still based on the 45 frame cycle!

You can see foot slip as the dino gets closer to camera, I would normally tidy this once QPAS has been baked. However, kind of looks like the paws are slipping in the sand a little.

Think what I could have achieved if I'd spent another 15 minutes on it!!
