Two songs: BA BEAUX FRERES AND [AT 9.17] BA PENSEES. From 1977.
Ba beaux freres --9,19mins-- is credited to Franco, Ba pensees --10.23mins-- to Josky a.k.a Kiambukuta Londa. The other side had Fariya by Josky and Tala Ye na miso by Ntesa Zitani {Dalienst}. It is Ok jazz in flowing melody, nearly nostalgic in a different era, for very soon husky Madilu would take center stage, and the wandering pigeon would ocassionally return to the nest with his nasal pitch, giving the band another spin.
the story behind the song ba beaux freres is even more interesting...how can a man know the shoe-size of his sister-in-law and not that of his wife? surely, people (witches) run around at night, but people come to know about it

@Sheundah I am told most Luambo songs have that kind of humour. That the ever popular Mario for instance, is the lament of an ageing rich beauty, distressed by her decreasing ability to incite male passions, especially that of her gigolo, Mario. And on the other side, Mario is a gigolo whose bedroom prowess is on the wane! and is thinking of changing careers! A tragi-comedy, or pure soap!
