[ED: Please forgive the wrong song title on video] Filmed at the Time Out Pub, in downtown Rockland ME on April 21, 1999, Twisted Roots were the third Maine band to perform as part of the Disc Frisk Presents Concert Series. I recently sat down and cherry-picked my way through this show. I will say, for me, watching all of this at one time was kind of painful. I will also clearly say that it had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with either the band or their music. This is like my third band video I'd ever shot and like anything else in life, there is a learning curve that must be allowed for. But, I AM my own worse critic and so, again ... painful. I digress. Twisted Root was out doing the legwork behind their recent Body In Trunk Brick On The Gas CD release on indie label Down With The Man Productions. It took a few songs before there was any real kind of connection between the band and the slowly growing crowd, but once it was established, the performance just kept getting better and better from one song to the next. I sincerely do apologize for the quality of the video capture, but I most certainly suspect that the bands' music will more than compensate ... enjoy
