Riding the Team Polytech 1968 Seeley G50 for a couple of qualifying laps at HockenheimRing, Germany, Saturday, September 12, 2009.
At the exit of the Sachs Curve the motor seized. I slid and fishtailed but was able to get to the clutch and save it. I coasted off, and that was the end of the bike, at least for this weekend.
Fortunately I was able to borrow another Seeley G50 from William de Ridder and finished 8th (out of 35) in Sunday's race.
