OK. I've put up this clip to see the acutal clip that is used from the cartoon show "Muppet Babies" episode from "The House That Muppets Built." You look at this clip + clip from Muppet Babies parody game show that is used from it and see how similar this is (click the response link). Dick Clark hosts. Jim Henson is the creater of this very poplular cartoon from 1984-1992. so Pyramid fans and Muppet Babies fans, this is for you. Guest stars are Vicki Lawrence and Levar Burton. Rod Roddy was the announcer for this episode.

  • @gameshowluvr86 If the word was edited out, would theyput the cuckoo in place?

  • @supersaver87 it's called "Helvetica" and it was used for the entirety of the 1973-1981 series. But in 1982 they switched it to "Serif" font (except the earliest episodes)

  • Vicki does not like Dick

  • yea it was from 1982 on 0:04.

  • He was a sub-announcer for a few episodes.

  • Never saw Pyramid use that font at 0:04 before. Must've been a REALLY early episode.

  • 10,000 back then was like a 100k today!

  • Didn't know Rod Roddy did the Pyramid too. Learn something new every day.

  • Does anyone know if they used a jib camera on the CBS version of Pyramid? These episodes were taped in Studio 33 and the center camera looks too close to be behind the audience.

  • Dick was always good at a fake laugh.
