In this video, I review the Cross ATX (shiny chrome version). This is my first Cross - and I like what I see!

  • Cross is a great company and their pens are amazing. Needless to say I'm a big fan of the company lol.

  • @Esperantisto84 Yes, well, I like the ATX a lot too: very smooth, and it feels like a very decent pen!

  • I found your channel while searching, God knows what, and enjoyed it very much. I'm a fountain pen collector myself and use them almost exclusively in all my writing (except, maybe, a few occasions where I have to use a rollerball to fill very small forms or duplicate paper). Thank you for posting these reviews.

  • @halidak I'm glad you found my channel and enjoy the videos: nice to have you on board! Did I understand correctly that you're a Montblanc fan?

  • @sbrebrown I'm indeed a Montblanc fan – an incurable one :), but I do have and use pens from other brands also (namely Cross and Graf von Faber-Castell, for now). I tried a few Visconti's before but were not very impressed with the nibs. Your review of beautiful Visconti Opera, however, made me consider it once more. A Divina Proportione maybe? :)

  • @halidak I'd try another one. I have heard there are, sometimes, some differences between the quality of Visconti's gold and steel nibs. i only have a gold nibbed Visconti, so I'm not sure myself...

  • @redforrori Indeed: nice, robust, no-nonsense pens!

  • I had one of these that I lost, and my mom has one. Nice, hardy, workhorse pen.

  • @shrumpkin Yeah, it's a fantastic colour, I heartily agree. Getting a dedicated BB pen sounds like a good idea.

  • @sbrebrown I love the color of BB. I think the whole turn-your-pen-blue thing has been a bit histrionic on certain forums; however, I can see how the vibrant color could dye clear plastic pen bodies. Vivid blue at its finest!
