@Djkl28 you do realize that the french are have won some of the biggest wars in history. SO they were taken by surprise in World War 2. Without France there wouldn't be an America. The French aren't just pansies. Learn some history.

@m249a1 ok you CAN join if you have a wife and kids but they WILL put you as single no matter what... but you get 45 days leave when you join yes you can go international =but you need N.C.O.S or something like that first..check out the website for more info

@FuckinFirstRecon I'm heading for 2 PWRR hopefully, small world ain't it. They depoly to Afghan in 2013, I want another bash at the Taliban. I was 2eme REP, we didn't have our own apartments, but you learn to live like a family. But after 3 years, take military normalisation and citizenship and you can then go for GIGN. Then they give you the world. Well, you get your own house.

@cozstuart I was 2PWRR. Sounds good but I don't like the fact you can't get your own apartment in the legion it kinda puts me off!

@FuckinFirstRecon Total madness, but I like madness. If you loved Afghan, then you'll love the Legion and I would definately say do it. You'll have an advantage in some respects because you're already a combat vet. You just have to adapt to the Legion is all. What regiment of British army are you? I'm going for PWRR.

@TerriblefailedLps your actually right. since the french resistance was on their home turf it may have given them the edge. US definitely helped in tiping the scale in the Allies favor though. I have a deep respect for France though because they really got hammered by Germany in both the 1st and 2nd world wars. But. They prevailed.

@PhalangitePower I'll admit, they were taken by surprise. But even without our help I believe the french resistance would have won out. They were fighting on their turf, for their very livliehood. That's not something to be taken easily. America didn't even enter the war until late, and Britain itself was being bombed into oblivion. Russia was in no position to help. /= that being said, it remains that it was pretty much 50/50 if they would have won or not if the allies weren't here.

@TerriblefailedLps ehh if my history is correct..the french WERE taken by surprise..but if it wasnt the help of the US and other allies..well france would have been completely conquered by the Germans..correct me if im wrong..im here to learn :D . i dont mean to offend

It signs any peace treaty that comes its way, which ultimately prevents the nations which need to protect themselves from taking any action to do so. France should have steam rolled through it and built better fotifications before Hitler had even been voted into power. But, the Belgiques are a bunch of whinny pascifists.

I know about Belgium and how hitlers dumbass brought Belgium to its knees (Eben Emael), France had a different side to assault Belgium, no base or star fort like Eben Emael. Its okay, I understand if you dont like this stuff. Its about to happen in usa. Pretty awesome. Drama is going to be the fall of usa. Im for sitting on a high point watching these countries in usa go at it all day.
