My favorite Miss aloha hula of all time. Nobody will ever be able to top her performance in 2001. Nobody has still today.
I wish that one day i will be able to talk to her. I actually sat a few rows behind her at Merrie Monarch in 06. But she was sitting with Kunewa Mook. Soo0o0o0 i didnt want to disturb them. But hopefully one day.
"Mele Aloha No Kaulana-i-ka-poki'i E Keaomelemele"
tells the story of Keaomelemele, who passes on her knowledge of hula and chant to her beloved younger sister Kaulana-i-ka-poki'i. The two sisters then perform to the great interest and delight of others.

Natasha had soo much passion in this kahiko! My tita is in training to run for Miss Aloha Hula and we watch this video everyday to gain knowledge of how its done and how she should be. We 3 you Natasha!!! :)

I've watch the competition every year since....and non compares to this performance....she is by far the best in my humble opinion. Wow is an understatement....this performance is just freakin' AUSOME!!!

Wow! My favourite single hula kahiko performance on Youtube! Natasha and those singer/percussionist are adorable. Many motions just resemble lizard or chameleon in my opinion. Am I right? I wish I understand Hawaiian language. It sounds exotic. Salam hangat/mahalo from Indonesia!
