  • Wow. Amazing audio in an a truly impressive space. But for crying out loud next time get a tripod and leave the camera alone! Stop playing with that thing so we can hear the wonder of it all and not be distracted by your fiddling...

What camera was it.? Great sound!

About 600 meters away form this ruined basilica there is a smaller church in the original state. Willibrorduskerk in Utrecht, just google it. The basilica looked just the same until they ruined it in 1968-1969. The Willibrorduschurch is now used on sundays for 2 masses (1. Novus Ordo Ad Orientem in Latin/2. Tridentine Mas) and for religious concerts. Nowadays more people attend the Willibrord, although much smaller as the bishops basilica.

  • @AndreasAntoniusMaria The amount of MILLIONS of monies that have been wastefully spent in the last 40 years, by destructive clergy, all paid for by silent congregations all over the world, is truly a crime. Some real desecrations have taken place, many irreparable!

  • If you remove the white paint on the pillars and walls you'll find the most beautifull paintings. This Church was damaged under the influence of the Vatican II Council. Cardinal Alfrink and his assistant Godijn Ruined the Church interiour. Both were extremely progressive.

  • is dit tijdens een echte begravenis?

  • what great audio. we did his version for large orchestra last year at my university. It is a touching, awe-inspiring work to study, perform, and listen to. Thanks for sharing!
