Palestinian Neighborhood in Gaza Destroyed by Israel

Journalist Robert Fisk visits a neighborhood in Gaza which has been demolished by the Israeli military because a Hamas gunman had been found in there. This demolotion of homes is regarded by Human Rights Watch as "a clear violation of the prohibition against collective punishment contained in Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention" (HRW 1/29/2004) which states "No protected person may be punished for an offence he or she has not personally committed. Collective penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are prohibited" (UNCHR). This is from a documentary Fisk made in the early 1990's about the causes of increasing "anti-Western" sentiment in the Middle East.

Once again Hamas has started to stir up trouble with Israel. Hamas is doing Irans bid to create trouble in the Mid East.
