Once the govt agencies are regulating all of our care we will be under total dominance by politicians seeking to gain more power and influence.

We have only to look at Great Britain and read the debacle of their National Health Sevice to see what is ahead for us.

Eveyone's healthcare will change so that the govt can control us...When they dictate what procedures and medications can be used for which patients that is absolute control. If your child needs surgery, but is handicapped or your Dad needs a stent but is over age 70, you won't llike the treatment offered under the new guidelines and you will have NO recourse!

I applaud you doctors for doing this. I can't understand why it took so long and why did the AMA not fight back? Obama is evil and will not flinch about anyone being "put down". Anyone who can let a baby die after a botched abortion is evil beyond our comprehension! May God Bless America again!

The insurance company will provide only only those services named by the Sect of HHS. The Comparative Effectiveness Research will decide what treatments are best. Then the Independent Payment Advisory Board will decide how much treatment can be paid for in any given year. Meanwhile the Sect of HHS will have decided exactly what treatments can be provided..not the insurance companies.

It is incredible how blind you can be. It is simple, doctors are not the ones deciding what can be done for a patient, it is the insurance company that dictates this. They tell a doctor if they will pay – simple –

So, taking “obamacare” will put that power back to the insurance companies – Stop thinking about “socialism”, China etc….
