It was obvious they'd altered this, but I hadn't guessed the reason was because of the song. I just saw a different Sparky cartoon on Totally Tooned In called "Attack of the Giant Puppy," which must have featured another licensed song because there's another really glaring example of overdubbing in that one as well. It's even more noticeable because Sparky's voice actor changes halfway through. It's not like these are the greatest cartoons, but they could have done a better job.
Wow! There's some MAJOR overdubbing here to eliminate the use of the song "Animal Crackers In My Soup," as was originally the running theme tune under the first three minutes of action.
