This wondrous alpine hike is located near the top of MT Lemmon in Tucson, AZ's Catalina Mountains. In this video you'll get a good look at wildlife in the area and the amazing vistas! The trails as of this July 2009 hike, were in fantastic shape! About midway through the hike, you can take a side hike to the site of a 1957 military jet crash where airplane parts are still scattered. After the hike it's wise to head to the small village of Summerhave and visit The MT Lemmon Cookie Cabin, where you can enjoy a massive homemade cookie, or some mighty fine pizza!
NOTE: Date in video say July; it should be June!
