  • I sure that that has happen. As Mr Grant said a lot of people came up north. They left their family down south to maintain the land and pay the taxes. Some could not do it.

  • they lost the land caues they didnt want to work..to be a farmer you need to get up of bed earliy in the morning. and a black person cant do that...dont ask me why i just dont know

  • This is unfortunate however, the USDA is working

    to eradicate all small, family farms regardless of the race of the farmer. The USDA is a threat to ALL small farmers.

  • Wow, I never realized that Black owned so much land at one point. Do you think that there are alot of black families that may have had land in their family but lost it due to lack of knowledge or upkeep with record?
