Surrounded by ocean for thousands of miles in every direction, for many centuries sailing was a central part to the Hawaiian way on life. The America 2 is a vessel that was purpose built to compete in the Americas Cup series in 1987. She placed second in the race and then was retired and after serving many other roles she was eventually refurbished to become a sailing charter boat in the waters off of West Maui. She rides like a racer and will tilt way over while she sails. If you are a fan of sailing and would like to spend a few hours going for a sail then you would probably enjoy the America II.
