Megaman X5: Megaman X's Bad Ending

From where X defeats Sigma and ends up in a bad shape. A mysterious figure appears and talks to the unconscious Megaman X. A week passes and Megaman X seems to be fine, but he has lost the memories of his friend Zero.

I got this ending randomly on my 2nd playthrough.

I went on a all X run that time, did better but yet Zero still went evil and died.

@VanCan23 I know that X5 was supposed to be the end, and it would have been a rather fitting end to the series(well the good endings), as for x6, it happened, it wasn't very good and had little involvement from Inafune. still its canon because from the very beginning of the X series Capcom has meddled with Inafune's plans(zero was originally the main character). plus X8 is pretty good and I really liked command mission.

@ZigTheHunter What I mean is using Zero is said to make him LESS likely to go Maverick. I exclusively used Zero, getting everything, and while Enigma failed, the shuttle worked. Again, I can't personally confirm it.

@ZigTheHunter The X series was planned to end on MMX5, that's why 'most' die-hard fans say there is a slope from x5 on and others say x6 it's not cannon. But then some managment swap happened and we have a few new half-baked X. As for the zero series i have no idea.

@AkaiAzul interesting, I wasn't aware using Zero decreases your chance of success. I got everything but the shuttle still failed, so I thought that this was supposed to happen, but then I got this ending and knew I was missing something.
