The Simpsons (Arcade) Gameplay

One of Konami's old-school beat-'em-ups, The Simpsons (obviously based on the first season - just look at the art style) puts you in control of one of the members of Our Favorite Family as they try to rescue Maggie from the clutches of Smithers and Mr. Burns.

Not only is it a great game, it's also one of the very few Simpsons games that doesn't suck rancid ass.

There was an old PC port and a version for the Commodore 64 way back in the day, but I think that's it.

Oddly enough, I've never had the chance to play it with a full four people. Two, yes, but not four. Even alone, though, it's a damn fine game.

Ah, a true arcade classic. they had this game at a day camp I went to like 8 years ago so I got to play this like twice a week for free. I was always Marge.
