does anybody know where the footage from 1963-ish is that is BBC stuff?

TERRIBLE ERROR, firing Pete and giving away all those songs.
To answer many questions, they are musical geniuses.

@TheDiddlysquat Ringo was the oldest, sir.
Both Lennon and McCartney would not have created an band as great as what they had if it had not been for each of them. They complimented each other well with their songwriting, singing and musicality. It's pretty futile to say things like "this person would've been nothing without that blah blah blah." It works both ways.
They were all irresponsible. They were young. Remember it was Paul and Pete who set fire to the hotel room in Germany.

@TheDiddlysquat yeh paul ringo george are amazing but no john no beatles john had that edgey rocknroll voice it was perfect and he wrote some of their best songs your comepletely wrong and wat your saying is youd rather no john he had a great guitar player

@TheDiddlysquat Boy did you get a lot of this wrong. John was the driving force behind this band. He would push the others and Paul would back him up. He was fierce in promoting them. I didn't like him because he didn't usually tell people he was married. It took a long time for that to come out in America anyway. My sister thought all his rudeness was cool. lol It took awhile before they let George have a solo because he wasn't confident in his voice and it wasn't that good really.

@blue9427 Ringo was the oldest. . He was 23 when they hit in America. :) John was second, Paul and George at 18. That's what I remember anyway. :)
