  • You have a good Thorens turntable but you placed it in a wrong place: never on the amp, never on the speakers!!

(that is: keep it away from warm sources and from vibrations).

  • Thanks for the comment Nick. I completely understand what you mean in regards to turntable placement. I've recently purchased an audio rack, so the turntable no longer sits right on the amp. Check out my most recent videos and you can see. Cheers!

  • At least you want to play yours.

It drives me nuts to see auctions for unplayed copies of this - people that horde them and/or try to profit off them selling them for $400 are going to be pissed when MoFi does half-mastered 2LP 180g releases of the entire DMB catalogue!!

    :)

Looks sweet, wish I could play it on my Goldring GR-2!

  • I agree with you 110% :)

  • I got this for free from the director of this Record Pool I was in... had no clue how rare it was till recently. Wish it was picture disk.. I'd have it framed!

  • Good stuff!! I would kill to have that lp!! Okay...maybe not kill, but I would hurt someones feelings really, really bad to have it!

  • more DMB in vinyl please?!?! Thanks!!!

  • i spoke to a guy at a local vinyl shop and he told me DMB just wasn't pressed on vinyl because they were in an era where people just didnt care about vinyl too much, but i think vinyl is growing in popularity again, maybe they'll start pressing the older albums?

  • Big Whiskey will be on vinyl...

  • It seems like The Dreaming Tree is the last cut on that side? That sucks, means more distortion. :( I'd rather have it near the edge as it is the best song ever made ever.

  • Do wha?

Have you heard anything about this? Seriously???

I dream of a day when I can play Crash or a 6LP set of the Central Park concert on my Thorens.
