Winthrop Hot Air Balloon Festival Timelapse

Winthrop Balloon Festival low quality test upload. I have an hour of high def footage. This footage was shot with an old Questar 700mm lens from the 1970's. It's a telescope that I attached to my Canon 5d2. I am creating a higher quality version of the video that will be available in high definition. This video is just a quick test to see how my footage is coming along. Obviously, this is a timelapse as watching balloons float around can be pretty boring in real time. In timelapse you can get a better sense for how the balloons float through the air and follow the wind patterns. Winthrop is a nice place for a weekend trip if you live in Washington state. They also have some of the best cross country skiing trails in the country. Enjoy!

Believe it or not, that was purely coincidental ... a car drove by slowly as the flock of geese flew by. I didn't even notice that until I watched the video for the first time on Youtube. I put the video together without audio, so I had no clue. Fun find.

Look at the third ballon from 1.06 to 1.22, it's spinning around and it seams not a ballon at all...

perhaps a space alien ballon :))

(perhaps it was the sun... optical illusion?)
