Just to add some credence to the legend. There seem to be some anomalies to the clocks in control room in 'The Philadelphia Experiment' film. The clocks in the 'long' shots have a different format. Then there are some with an odd '3' in them and at one stage one of the clocks jumps several hours in one frame. There seems to be no reason for this in the film. It was done deliberately, in order to subtly disorient those who subconsciously read clocks without it surfacing to their analytical thoughts at any point.
