Auckland City took a stranglehold of Group B in the 2012 O-League with a dramatic 3-2 win over Vanuatu club Amicale at Kiwitea Street in Auckland.

The catch-up fixture was a repeat of the 2011 final and certainly lived up to expectations with City needing an 87th minute goal from Adam Dickinson to seal the victory and go five points clear of Amicale and Papua New Guinea club Hekari United. The next full round of O-League action for Match Day 4 will take place on February 17-18 with all eight sides involved.

  • @percebeira I reckon u should sub the ref afta tat incident.....

  • @ghorebrada Please, Can't you with your two (or three) big fucken eyes read the football rules? Take in your hands the book (it's easy, don't worry) with the rules and read the paragraph who says that if the arm is attached to the body it's not fault (penalty in this case).

  • @percebeira Can't u c with ur two big fucken eyes its clearly a hand ball......if this match was played in vanuatu it will be the replay for tafea vs lautoka......I will be sorry for the tahitian ref......

  • It's not penalty, the arm is touching the body, then... no handball.

  • refree had a very poor game. 3 times he made big mistakes and then realised his mistakes and tried to even the ledger up by awarding soft fouls a few mintues later....e.g Auckland penalty should have been given when Esposito was tackled and not when Dickinson when down softly on purpose. The one that really mattered was the clear handball on the line by Auckland, it was a dead cert penalty. Not good enough ref....and your awarding a foul for handball outside the box minutes later did not make up

  • This definitely was a handball for Amicale at the end of the match

  • What i dont understand is why this and the NZFC aren't at least highlighted on sky. Waikato FC always have a camera man at the games. May not be good footage but its good for exposure and maybe one day we wont have to go through fucking play offs to qualify for World Cups. SKY these up

  • commentary...thank you.
